How the calculation works
We use the room perimeter times wall height, then subtract 21 sq ft per door and 15 sq ft per window. Coats multiply the paintable area. Divide by the selected coverage per gallon.
Simple example
A 12 × 10 ft room with 8 ft walls, one door, two windows and two coats has 301 sq ft of wall area or 602 sq ft with both coats. At 350 sq ft per gallon, that is about 1.72 gallons before a buffer.
