How Lease Mileage works

Project mileage as miles driven divided by elapsed months times total lease months. Compare this with annual allowance times lease years, then multiply excess mileage by the per-mile fee.

These sample values illustrate the calculation. Use your own numbers in the calculator for your result.

Example inputs

Projected over allowance

Assumptions and limits

Allowance is annual. Projection assumes your current mileage pace continues. Use miles attributable to the lease rather than the full odometer.

Check lender terms and manufacturer guidance. These estimates do not replace a mechanical inspection.
